Britain's First Gay Cricketer

In a direct contrast with what we seem to see in American football, British cricket fans has a new gay role-model:  Steve Davies.

Citing Welsh Rugby player Gareth Thomas as an inspiration (he came out last year) Davies stated that after coming out five years previous to his family and gaining their support, he no longer had a desire to hide who he is.

"Davies told The Sun: 'I'm comfortable with who I am and happy to say who I am in public.

"'To speak out is a massive relief for me, but if I can just help one person to deal with their sexuality then that's all I care about.'"

Plus, he's just presh.  Look at him!  I would totally let him cricket the hell outta me.
