Congressman Weiner Resigns, The Porn Industry Eagerly Awaits New Talent

After more than a week of claiming a hacked Twitter account and subsequent weeks of resisting resignation, Congressman Anthony Weiner reluctantly resigned his seat in the House of Representatives today amid a sex scandal started when he Tweeted photos of his manparts to a lady friend.

Since the initial photos broke the news, several relationships with women have come to light, carried on over Facebook, Twitter, and text message.  Bill Maher and Jane Lynch hilariously recited his sexts on his show just a few days ago, a video that has gone viral.

Weiner's remarks were penitent to begin with:

"I had hoped to be able to continue the work that the citizens of my district invited me to do," he said. "Unfortunately the distraction I have created has made that impossible. So today I am announcing my resignation from congress."

Unfortunately, the press conference went awry very quickly as a heckler shouted insults and demanded to know if Weiner was "7 inches," a raucous interruption that incited news anchor Brian Williams to cut in, warning the audience that the media event had become "something of a circus."

Hey, I'm sure Vivid Entertainment would be happy to offer Anthony a job.  He seems to enjoy being in front of the camera.
