Mars Hill Attacks

According to a recent post (by recent I mean, nearly a week old) on the Seattle Weekly blog, local megachurch pastor Mark Driscoll has gone on record as saying that practicing yoga and reading Harry Potter are Satanic:

"Practicing yoga is Satanic, it leads to evil just like reading Harry Potter," he told a film festival in Umbria this week, where he was invited to introduce The Rite, a film about exorcism starring Sir Anthony Hopkins as a Jesuit priest. "

My response - well, only if you're doing it right.

Honestly, I just wanted a reason to post the above picture. That is all.

RIP Dr. Kevorkian

The controversial Dr. Kevorkian died this morning, as reported by WDIV Detroit:

"Dr. Jack Kevorkian passed away early Friday morning at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. Kevorkian died of pulmonary thrombosis around 2:30 a.m. He was 84-years-old.

"The retired pathologist had been hospitalized for the past few weeks..

"Kevorkian was released from a Michigan prison in 2007 after serving eight years for second-degree murder. He claims to have assisted in at least 130 suicides."

RIP, Doctor Death.
