Can Bryan Fischer Please Just Move To Africa?

Bryan Fischer stated again on his radio show that homosexuality should be a felony.

I wonder if he's a fan of Uganda's Kill-The-Gays Bill? Is this the kind of compassion we can expect from God's gentle people?

Bryan Fischer Is Giving Away All Rick Perry's Strategeries

Bryan Fischer wants you to know that Rick Perry is going to be utilizing the secret to American success: fusing Christianity and politics.  Fuck that whole separation of church and state thing!  Fischer references De Tocqueville, and NCRM had a handy-dandy quote from that particular demagogue to illustrate the kind of policy Perry and Fischer would like to see enacted in modern politics:

"Moreover, almost all the sects of the United States are comprised within the great unity of Christianity, and Christian morality is everywhere the same. In the United States the sovereign authority is religious, and consequently hypocrisy must be common; but there is no country in the whole world in which the Christian religion retains a greater influence over the souls of men than in America, and there can be no greater proof of its utility, and of its conformity to human nature, than that its influence is most powerfully felt over the most enlightened and free nation of the earth.

"The Americans combine the notions of Christianity and of liberty so intimately in their minds, that it is impossible to make them conceive the one without the other; and with them this conviction does not spring from that barren traditionary faith which seems to vegetate in the soul rather than to live.

"There are certain populations in Europe whose unbelief is only equaled by their ignorance and their debasement, while in America one of the freest and most enlightened nations in the world fulfills all the outward duties of religion with fervor.

"Upon my arrival in the United States, the religious aspect of the country was the first thing that struck my attention; and the longer I stayed there, the more did I perceive the great political consequences resulting from this state of things, to which I was unaccustomed. In France I had almost always seen the spirit of religion and the spirit of freedom pursuing courses diametrically opposed to each other; but in America I found that they were intimately united, and that they reigned in common over the same country."

Oh good.  I just can't wait to see the advent of the New Puritanism.

Rick Perry And His Group Of Merrie Preachers

If you have any doubts that Rick Perry's upcoming "The Response" prayer rally is the worst sort of religious demagoguery and craziness, check out this video including clips of the various supporters and organizer of the event.  It includes Mike Bickle (who said that Oprah is a forerunner of the post-apocalyptic Harlot Babylon) and one of my personal favorites, the ever-rabid Bryan Fischer.

LCR Head Named To RNC, Social Conservatives Have A Conniption

Gay Repubs celebrated this week as the central fundraising arm of the GOP, the Republican National Committee, named the executive director of the Log Cabin Republicans to the Finance Committee.  This is a huge step of inclusion for gays in the GOP, as until now the LCR has existed on the fringe of the conservative movement.  Some say the move is signaling a shift away from social issues on the Republican Party's agenda, and a small but very vocal element of the right is very very unhappy about it.

I have to say, I love it whenever Bryan Fischer of the American Family Association throws a hissy.  It means SOMETHING must be going right.

Bryan Fischer: Fidelity In Same-Sex Relationships Virtually Unheard Of

While I've known my fair share of polyamorous gay relationships (and been involved in a couple of them) I would say that Bryan Fischer is reaching, like much of the right, for any reason whatsoever to remain relevant in the wake of NY Marriage Equality.

Gays Will Perpetrate Hate Crimes Against Straight Soldiers. Right.

In an attempt to continue fanning the flames of the diminishing fears about gays in the military, Bryan Fischer stated on his radio show that straight soldiers run the risk of hate crimes at the risk of the homosexual lobby.  He even goes so far as to use the words "virtual genocide."  Whatever that means.

If by hate crime you mean "not allow them to place their religious beliefs ahead of the policies of their job," why, you'd be right, Fischy!

Gay Activists #1 Perpetrators Of Hate Crimes

I normally don't post Bryan Fischer's radio show, but this was just too ludicrous to keep to myself.  That's right, the AFA director really is trying to get people to believe that gay activists perpetrate more hate crimes than any other group of people.

I suppose if he classifies "pointing out lies and inconsistencies" as a hate crime, well, he'd be correct.

AFA Urges Fast Food to Boycott Glee

The American Family Association, noted as the home of OAQ favorite Bryan Fischer and designated hate group by the SPLC, is now urging Subway, Taco Bell, and Burger King to pull their ads during the broadcast of Glee because they portray gay teens positively.

Glee has had an ongoing anti-bullying storyline since its inception, with Chris Colfer's portrayal of Kurt Hummel drawing accolades from pro-acceptance advocates nationwide.

"Burger King Corporation
Consumer Relations
(305) 378-3535

Taco Bell
1-800-TACO BELL Customer Representative

Subway - Contact LINK

Lets beat these hateful bastards at their own game and THANK these companies for supporting LGBT teenagers and thell them what the AFA REALLY IS!"

The AFA hasn't really gotten the clue yet that corporate America is more and more starting to value the gay dollar.

Oh, That Cheeky Bryan Fischer

The things he says!

In his latest attack on Muslims, Bryan Fischer outlines a bizarre and rambling plan in which the American armed forces convert Islamic populations by the sword.  Yeah.  Because evidently the only way we can build democracies in Middle Eastern nations is by sending in the Marines and then the missionaries.

This guy just makes me gag.
